This week's Premier League match predictions
Prices shown are the best available at the time of writing across tracked GRAI-licensed and international bookmakers. The implied favourite is listed first.
- Arsenal v Coventry City — Arsenal 1.20, draw 8.20, Coventry 19.5. A heavy home favourite; the market gives Arsenal roughly an 83% implied chance.
- Hull City v Manchester United — Man United 1.46, draw 4.90, Hull 8.60. United backed to win comfortably away.
- Everton v Crystal Palace — Everton 2.24, draw 3.55, Palace 3.55. Tight, with Everton nudged ahead at home.
- Ipswich Town v Sunderland — Ipswich 2.82, draw 3.50, Sunderland 2.78. As close to a pick-'em as it gets; the draw is well backed here.
- Nottingham Forest v Leeds United — Forest 2.38, draw 3.50, Leeds 3.30. Home edge for Forest.
- Brentford v Tottenham Hotspur — Brentford 2.54, Spurs 2.88, draw 3.75. Marginal home lean.
- Brighton v Aston Villa — Brighton 2.32, draw 3.85, Villa 3.10. Brighton favoured at the Amex.
- Manchester City v Bournemouth — City 1.50, draw 5.20, Bournemouth 6.40. Strong home favourite.
- Newcastle United v Liverpool — Liverpool 1.97, Newcastle 3.95, draw 4.00. The standout fixture and the closest of the top-order clashes.
- Fulham v Chelsea — Chelsea 2.10, Fulham 3.60, draw 4.00. Chelsea favoured away at Craven Cottage.
These are market probabilities, not certainties. Odds compression around 1.20–1.50 (Arsenal, Man City) signals a clear favourite; anything clustered near 2.50–3.00 across all three outcomes is genuinely open.
How we read the odds
Our predictions follow the market. The favourite in each fixture is simply the selection with the shortest price, because bookmaker odds carry the sharpest available estimate of the true probability once margin is stripped out.
To convert a price to an implied chance, divide 100 by the decimal odds: Liverpool at 1.97 implies about 51%, Man City at 1.50 about 67%, Arsenal at 1.20 about 83%. Bookmakers add a margin on top, so the implied percentages across all three outcomes always total more than 100%. Lower-margin books give you closer-to-fair prices — Betfair (avg margin ~4.3%) and Unibet (~5.7%) sit tightest among the operators we sample, while several sit above 7%.
Use this to spot value: if your own read on Ipswich v Sunderland is more clear-cut than the near-even 2.82/2.78 the market offers, that's where a bet earns its keep.
Where to compare Premier League prices
Best-price shopping matters most on the close fixtures. Across our sampled Premier League markets, Betfair topped the best-price share (53%), reflecting its exchange-driven low margin, with Ladbrokes (22%) and William Hill (17%) also frequently posting the top price.
For market coverage on the full Premier League schedule — corners, cards, player shots, same-game combinations — bet365 rates highest for market coverage (9.6) and bet builder depth (9.0), with Betfair and William Hill close behind on breadth. For the Newcastle v Liverpool type of fixture where you want to watch as you bet, bet365, Paddy Power, William Hill, Ladbrokes, Betfair, Unibet and LiveScore Bet all list live streaming among their features.
If you back Irish-based operators, Paddy Power and BoyleSports are both GRAI-regulated and carry cash out and bet builder. Compare the line at two or three books before committing — on a 2.78 v 2.82 fixture, the price you take decides your long-run return.
